In Classic Outlook for Windows (Desktop App)
  1. Click File in the top-left menu.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Click on the Calendar tab in the left sidebar.
  4. Under the Calendar options section, uncheck Automatically add meeting invitations to my calendar (or change it so it requires your response).
  5. Scroll down further to Automatically process meeting requests and responses and uncheck it to stop calendar clutter.
  6. Click OK to save

How do I stop spammers from populating my calendar?



I get these spam invitations all the time, and outlook
automatically adds them to my calendar. How do I stop that from
happening? I don't want to "delete and decline" every single one, they
don't deserve any interaction.


Online suggestions say things like: "Settings > Calendar >
Events from email and uncheck the option to Add events to my calendar
from email. You can also adjust settings in the desktop Outlook app by
going to File > Options > Mail and unchecking "Automatically
process meeting requests and responses to meeting requests and polls" in
